Wellbeing and inclusion

Everyone belongs at KNC

KNC wants players, families, coaches, umpires and volunteers to feel safe, respected and supported throughout the season.

Inclusion

A welcoming club for every person

Community netball works best when people feel they can participate as themselves. KNC welcomes players of different ages, abilities, backgrounds and levels of experience, and expects respectful behaviour on court, at training and around the sidelines.

Coaches, managers, committee members and families all share responsibility for creating an environment where people are included, listened to and treated fairly.

Support

Speak up early

If something does not feel right, raise it early with a coach, manager or committee member. Concerns about safety, bullying, discrimination, harassment or someone’s wellbeing should not be left to grow.

The club will listen, help identify the appropriate next step and use its policies or external support services when needed.
